Instructions

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

Step 2

While pasta cooks, combine basil, parsley, mint, chives, pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan, lemon juice, and salt and pepper in a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped.

Step 3

With the processor running, slowly drizzle in olive oil until the pesto is smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning.

Step 4

Drain the spaghetti and return it to the pot. Add the fresh herb pesto and toss well, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time until the sauce coats the pasta evenly.

Step 5

Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
