Instructions
Step 1
Cook rice according to package directions and set aside to cool.
Step 2
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth until smooth. Set aside.
Step 3
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef in a single layer (work in batches if needed) and cook without stirring for 1 minute to sear. Then stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked. Transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the skillet. Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 5
Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Add 2 tablespoons water and cover for 1 minute to steam.
Step 6
Return beef to the skillet. Pour the sauce over everything and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
Step 7
Divide rice among 4 meal prep containers. Top with beef and broccoli mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Let cool completely before sealing and refrigerating.
Step 8
To reheat: microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water.
